Do you accept demos? Where do I send them? : We're always looking for new and talented artists to possibly work with. But since we don't have money to burn, and neither do you, please email a link to some form of streaming music, please don't send mp3's as we won't listen to them that way. Until it dies, myspace is a decent way to get to know each other. We're at www.myspace.com/bluetint after that we'll usually ask for more music if it's something we might want to hear more of.
How do I order cds/shirts/etc. from you? : Please visit our online store.
Do you have a printed catalog? : Nope, what you see is what you get.
Who distributes Bluetint releases? How do I purchase your cds for my record store? : As of right now, distribution for brick and mortar stores happens directly through us, we believe that the independant store needs all the support it can get, and that very few releases from anyone are worth $15 anymore, so if you're interested in placing our product in your store without the distribution company cut, let us know.
How do I get promotional copies of your releases for my fanzine, magazine, newspaper, or website? : Please understand that we have a limited supply of promotional copies, and are unable to send out cds to everyone who requests one. With that said, if you'd like to receive promo cds, please send us a sample of your publication (to the address printed at the bottom of this page), and we'll see what we can do. If you're open to it, we can always send you a link to download the record you're interesting in as well.
How do I get promo copies of your releases for my radio show or station? : Please contact our office, and send us a copy of your most recent playlist. Make sure you indicate which artist(s) you're interested in, and understand that we're unable to send out promos to each and every radio station in the world. If you're open to it, we can always send you a link to download the record you're interesting in as well.
How do I go about licensing a song from one of your artists for my film, TV program, or commercial? : Contact us, If you can, answer the following questions in your email:
Which song do you wish to license?
* Which artist performs the song?
* On which record does the song appear?
* Briefly describe your film, TV program or commercial:
* Briefly describe the scene in which you want to use the song:
* Where will the film/TV program/commercial be shown?
* What is the budget for the film/TV program/commercial?
* Can you send us a clip of your project?
How can I get a job at Bluetint Records? : Right now we aren't looking for more staff, but like we do with our artists, we tend to build the staff out of on going relationships, get to know us, meet us at shows, you have a much better chance if something comes up to be asked to become part of the family, if you already are...
Do you have intern positions? : If you're looking for unpaid,
entry level work at a record label in order to earn college credit,
and are living in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, please send
us your resume and any pertinent information to the email address
below. We only offer internships to those seeking some sort of
school credit, or maybe if you wow us with why you want to be
here.
